Training session number 15

As some of you may know, whenever I go swimming, I log the distance and the time on my Swimfit webpage.  It's a fantastic way to keep motivation up, as it turns what is a GRUELLING SLOG, into a 'Look how clever I am'  moment.

Imagine my joy this morning, as I logged on to enter in yesterday's training, and found this message, staring out of my computer at me, in big, bold colours, telling me this;

I feel very proud of myself.  I've swum eight miles in six weeks.  Well, okay, that doesn't actually sound a lot now I've written it that way, and if I ever was adrift in the Caribbean sea, I'd be in big trouble.  But I managed it in the choppy waters of Spiceball Swimming Pool, so all power to my elbow, as they say.

Here's more proof (yes, I know, I'm showing off now, but I can't help it.)

I even got a gold star at the end - the locals were out in force with their bunting and banners, and things.  A great time was had by all.  Here's me at the start;

And here I am at the end;

Now I have to choose a different challenge, but - guess what?

The website's crashed!  It seems that even the Swimfit guys are so amazed that they've had to go and have a cup of tea to celebrate.

Just one more, and then I'll go, I promise;
