In my defence, I think I ought to share with you my real life diary. I do this because the bad news is that I am so far behind with my novel, that I am going to require some super hero skills to get it finished. I'm thinking maybe the ability to slow down time, or dramatically speed up my thinkng and typing abilities, or something else entirely.
In short, I need a magic wand. One of the students in the study centre the other day had a beautiful one in a presentation box, and everything, I wish now I had asked to borrow it.
Any way, I digress (well I have been writing a novel, so that's what novellists do). and here is why I have fallen behind. Bear in mind that all the lessons you will see on my timetable need planning for, so please don't say 'Pah! What is she worried about? She still has x number of hours left in the week to write.' Instead, give me sympathy and bring me some hotpots and casseroles. Thanks.
Think positive you say you are so far behind but look how many words you have completed. There are probably many who have fallen at the wayside. Maybe you could plan a diary for your novel writing then you would stick to it. Some of this comment might be hard but you need a serious kick up the backside and I'm doing it (out of love and respect for you).
