One of the memorable moments was going inside the
The New York Public Library. Apart from the fact that it is a stunning building, it is a LIBRARY! You can go there to read, and find things out, and be quiet, and soak in the lovely atmosphere and smell of the place. You can get on a computer to search the Library's records for a book (in this case

Beautiful computer room, although I think I was
distracted by the good looking man to the right. |
As I'm writing about a Library visit, you will notice that you can click on links
here, like this one to do research. You may, or may not be sitting in surroundings as beautiful as those above......
Of course, there are places in the Library to start writing up your research once you've done it ...
 |
| Another lovely place to write/read ... |
Once your research is organised, you can then even get one of these little slips from the counter.......

... which will enable you to log on and tell the world, via your blog, what you have been up to ....
 |
| Voilà! Research posted via Facebook. |
And there we have it - the loveliness that is the New York Public Library.
Ah, those were the days and that was a really good one, wasn't it? Love the gorgeous wooden furniture, the chairs are really comfortable. Sitting there makes you feel you could write a great book or do some great research.
ReplyDeleteAnd you've done your scrapbook??? I haven't even started mine yet!! Well, that's not strictly true, I have identified a scrapbook I fancy, does that count as a start?
