A few years ago, my son bought me a new watch for my birthday. It was to replace one which I had lost. I'm not able to actually wear a watch, as they irritate me, so I used to carry it around with me at work, and, well, I put it down somewhere and lost it. And then I did the same with the one he bought me. I felt terrible - but confessed to him, and he was okay about it.
Anyway, the tin that it came in does just the job to keep the cat's food in. I'll explain why. We were given the cat a couple of years ago by a friend of my son. The situation went something like this:
MS (my son) - " that's a lovely little cat you've got there"
FOMS (friend of my son) - "she is lovely, do you want her?"
MS - "what?"
FOMS - "seriously, do you want her?"
MS -"okay, I'll check with mum"
So we got her. She is a gorgeous cat, but the only problem is that her name - wait for it - is Big Suze. That's young men for you. No idea how to name a cat. I can't actually call her Big Suze, my mouth won't do that, so have taken to calling her 'baby girl'...
... which is where the tin comes in. It's ideal to keep a little amount of food in, to save going to the cupboard all the time; it has her name on it, and her 'mantra', which is 'shock resist'. She is fearless, afraid of nothing (except plastic bags) (*?")
we've had her nearly two years now, and have used the tin all that time.
P.S. - guess what I found yesterday?
The watch!!!!
Where on earth did you find it.
