Almost ready for picking. It's not quite as ripe all the way around, but it's a beautiful site. I checked on it the day after - still not quite ready. So I checked on it yesterday, and thought it was still not quite ripe enough for me.
Obviously it's ripe enough for someone (or something) though ...
Drat and darn it - too late!
Mine are coming on well and I keep reminding myself to cover them before it's too late. I MUST do it at the weekend.
