Wimbledon free zone

I'm sorry.
I hate all sports on the television.
I don't think TV is the place for sports.
In fact, I've come to the conclusion that I hate most television.
I have four channels - one of them is unwatchable because you can't actually see anything, one of them is unwatchable because there is nothing worth seeing.
I have two television channels.
And I don't want sport on them.
It's not unreasonable - just what is the point of watching tennis or any other sport on TV?  Worse still, why does sport appear in my two-only-channel news items?  I don't get it.

However, I played some sport yesterday.  (I know, astonishing).

I played a game of cricket.  Not tennis, cricket.

The Joni Mitchell XI beat the veteran actors by 273 to 211 - poor Doris Day was out for a duck, but Bette Davis scored a creditable 58, run out.  Someone will be pleased to know that Audrey also scored a 50.

I need to get a life.

And how very dare you blaspheme about Wimbledon! It's required viewing, like Last Night of the Proms....it's the law!
