Just in case I forget what my due date is, the BBC very kindly remind me:
I think they must be aware that I forget things, or something. But I'm not going to forget this - it's a historic moment in my household. We haven't had a birth in a long time. I can't keep my feet still, I'm so excited.
There are still preparations to be done, however, besdes the boiling water and the breathing exercises. I may need some birthing partners for this one. I have to check that my TV aerial will actually be good enough for the digital signal, and to do that, I have to check white dots on the Teletext Digital Test page. If any white dots are missing in any column, I'm in big trouble, and could have a protracted experience. I've counted them all and I think they're all there, but could do with some reassurance that everything is going to be all right, otherwise panic may well set in.
Just a few words of encouragement that everything is going to be fine is all I need. So, I think it's Game On, and all I have to do is wait patiently. Breathe in - Not long now. Breathe out - Everything is going to be fine.
Here's a picture of what has become my favourite flower of the summer - it's an Isotoma deep Blue, and it has flowered continuously since early summer. The Crocosmia is okay too.
Breathe in - and out.
Hope the 'birth' went well and there were no complications!

I am pleased you remembered your breathing excercises. I wait with baited breath for the next installment. Love the slippers they look so comfy.
